Madden Super Bowl sim goes Colts way…in a big way
As some of my readers may know already (have you read the ‘About’ tab yet?), I double as a “real” sportswriter for the Billings Gazette. Featured in today’s Super Bowl edition of the paper was my Madden 10 simulation of tonight’s Colts-Saints showdown.
I’m sorry Saints fans, this one was pretty much decided before kickoff. The Colts cruised to a 52-20 win reminiscent of Super Bowl’s some twenty years ago. Even more surprising – Joseph Addai rolled up 246 yards and ran away (haha) with MVP honors.
The rules of the simulation? Eight minute quarters, CPU vs. CPU on All-Madden at the site of Super Bowl XLIV as I spectate. No restarting or quick sim allowed.
